I wear more cosmetics makeup in winter than I do in summer. In summer I have found that I can get away with the bare minimum when it comes to cosmetics makeup because my face already has some color. I stick to natural colored lip gloss and a small amount of eye makeup. In winter I use more cosmetics makeup because I feel like I need all the help I can get. You see I am naturally very fair skinned so in winter my face tends to look very pale. Hence I wear more cosmetics makeup in order to feel half-human and less like the undead. I use a darker lipstick, more eye makeup and a little blush for a splash of color. I have found that wearing a little more cosmetics makeup in the winter totally transforms the way I look. I have learned to embrace the fact that I have a fair complexion and even make the most of it. This has a positive impact on my self-esteem because it helps me to realize that all skin tones have their own beauty, even mine.
