My hair is kind of odd and has always limited my choice of hair styles. I need to have it very short or as long as I can grow it and nothing in between. My hair is wavy on the top and curly underneath. When I wash it and let it dry on its own it goes into Shirley Temple style ringlets. Someone once called them banana curls thought I don’t know why.

As a teenager my hair styles were short and easy to care for. Usually short, straight and spiky or culled and puffy when it started to grow out. In my twenties I tried to grow my hair out.
