It seems like ever since I hit the big 4-0, my hair styles have taken a nose dive. I don't know what the problem is. I haven't changed my diet, or been sick, but yet my hair is seriously suffering. I've always been one to pride myself on my hair styles. I tend to never go over the top with my look, and while I keep things fashionable, I never fall prey to the trends that are more outlandish than anything else. I receive compliments all the time on my hair, or at least I used to. I first began to notice that my hair styles were not working when I failed at achieving the looks that had always been simple in the past.

I know it may sound crazy, but I've had more bad hair days lately than I believe I've ever had in my lifetime. I've thought about trying new hair styles, but I haven't seen anything that I really thought I liked, much less something that I want to see on myself when I look in the mirror each day. Finally, after a lot of silence, I decided to mention the hair dilemma to my stylist. I honestly thought she was going to fall onto the ground and start rolling in laughter when I explained the problems that I've been having with my hair styles. I know, it may sound silly to some people, but to those of us who have this problem, I can assure you it isn't silly. She asked if I'd tried changing shampoos to see if that would help my hair styles look a little more like they are intended. I told her that of course I hadn't, because I'd been using the same products for years and never had any problems. She suggested that before I start taking drastic actions with new hair styles, that I should try something new.
