One of the easiest ways to stay cool during the next few months is keeping the hair short. Over the winter, I let it grow longer and in June, the less hair care needed the better. It is pretty easy for guys. We do not really have to make a big hair style change to lighten the load. Girls have a much bigger decision to make if they are considering a short hair style. That is if their hair isn’t already short. The other day I got a haircut. It had been just over a month since I got my last one. My hair was not long by any means but it was long for a standard crew cut.

After the stylist was done, it felt like a few pounds was shed off my head. I rode my motorcycle there and immediately felt how much easier it was to strap up my helmet. A shorter hair style keeps me from overheating in the afternoon.
