The first time I heard the term “crow’s feet” I thought my mom was talking about my feet actually resembling that of a crow. It freaked me out. As a kid, she made sure I wore sunglasses during the summer so I didn’t have “crow’s feet” later on in life. As a little boy who started to cry with the idea of my feet transforming into twiggy black bird claws, she quickly explained it was just a figure of speech and that squinting to see when the sun shines creates wrinkles around the eyes. That made more sense but was much less motivation to wear sunglasses. What did I care about wrinkles? My mom would point out the crow’s feet around the corners of her outer eyes and show me the expensive anti aging skin cream she now had to purchase in order to avoid looking older then her years.
Back then, no one shopped online. We were all at the will of whoever the local storeowner was. Now anti aging skin cream to hair style products float around digital store shelves like those at Tegan’s Corner Store at http://teganscornerstore.ispeedway.com/. I started to think about all these old stories of crow’s feet after my girlfriend used the term the other afternoon on a cloudless, hot day. She forgot her sunglasses after we drove up to a short hike and was worried all her squinting was going to give her early wrinkles. I told her not to worry about it. Worst-case scenario, she would need to buy anti aging skin cream. That sparked something in her and as soon as we got a back, she hopped on my laptop and started looking for anti aging skin products. After a little bit of browsing, no longer than it took me to heat up a turkey sandwich, she was calling me over to check out the Zirh International, Rejuvenate ( Anti-aging Cream )--50ml/1.7oz, Women seen in the picture above. She wanted to know if the skin lotion was a smart buy. I don’t know. I responded with, “It’s your money. I bet it will help protect against crow’s feet.” At this point just saying “crow’s feet” had become funny. As soon as she heard that, she clicked buy on the anti aging skin product.
One of the things I learned early on about women is how much they loath wrinkles. Maybe older guys care about them too but right now future wrinkles on my face is probably the last thing on my mind. It is good to know if the day ever comes where I want to look younger, like way in the future because I look 18 even though I’m in my mid-twenties, there are anti aging skin creams online.
